Production Notes

I wanted Busk to explore the idea that a life in music isn't necessarily measured by record sales, recognition, or the applause that follows a performance. Sometimes the most meaningful impact happens quietly, long after the music has stopped playing.

At its heart, this is a story about two strangers connected by a song and a moment neither fully understood at the time. I was drawn to the contrast between a musician who believes his best days are behind him and a woman carrying a piece of his past that he never knew existed.

I wanted the story to feel intimate and unhurried, allowing the encounter to unfold naturally. Beneath the surface, Busk asks a simple question: What if the thing you thought you'd lost was never really lost at all?

Ultimately, it's a film about second chances, the permanence of music, and the lives we touch without ever knowing it.
